11. Explain why you think you are best suited to for the higher posts in Academic Instituitions:
- Being Son of Soil and knew vision and mission of Founder, so can better serve as VC than others.
- 29 years academic experience as a Teacher, Mentor, and Research supervisor for 26 PG students 21 Ph.D. candidates (Awarded). So academically and Research wise stronger and updated.
- 3 years as Founder Registrar, Anna University Tiruchirappalli established 6 engineering own campuses with suitable infra and labs. So experienced better Edu-infra resource manager.
- 2 years and 2 months as effective Director of Distance Education, managed micro University like Distance education with 1856 (teaching/non-teaching) staff members, 80 Study Centers, and 77 information centers across the country. Enrolled 1.35 lac students (2015) and 1.19 lac students (2016) with revenue of 70 crores. Created IVRS online website audde.in for admission, lesson creation, downloading, grievance redressal, e-Payments. SMS-based enrollment monitoring system So I can manage resources effectively for the growth of the University, i.e. tech enabler with revenue focus.
- 3 years as clean COE, Annamalai University conducting exams in on-campus (10 faculties/48 departments), 34 off-campus across and 10 international Centers ( 249 DEB approved courses/Yoga/Music Courses). Published results within 21 days for on-campus, 54 days for distance education courses and overseas courses. All QP management, Fee collection, Hall ticket Printing, Result Publishing are all through website coe.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in. So I am result-oriented.
- Founder Director, Annamalai Innovation center, and created all University repositories. Conducted legally case-free transparent appreciable counseling for Engineering / Medical / Agriculture / Education faculty-student admissions. Created new student/staff/public friendly AU website www.Annamalai university.ac.in. So I am innovative and informative.
- Acted as Expert member in AICTE for Southern and Northern Regions for starting approval and Extension approval for various engineering colleges.
- Acted as Director (Admission / Affiliation/ Hostel Counsellor), Anna University Tiruchirappalli. So I am aware of Govt. Agencies approval process.
- Acted as Nodal officer for AISHE.
